Company Thanksgiving

On November 26th, as families prepared for Thanksgiving, the staff and families of All Star Services Inc. came together for the annual Thanksgiving company cookout. Colleagues arrived with covered dishes in hand, a grill sizzled away in the backyard, and the atmosphere buzzed with camaraderie, games, and laughter.

When it was time to eat, we enjoyed a spread of classic favorites—burgers, hot dogs, Bojangles chicken, and fries—alongside more unique offerings like African banana leaf-steamed smoked ribs, chicken, country venison, homemade enchiladas, sweet potato casserole, steamed dinner rolls, and delightful aubergine pancakes. Beverages flowed freely, and for dessert lovers, there was a tempting selection of cupcakes, cheesecake, and other sweet treats.

The highlight of the afternoon was a raffle hosted by the CEO, where attendees had the chance to win a variety of prizes, from coveted shopping gift cards to the less sought-after bottles of hand sanitizer (much to everyone’s amusement).

Towards the end of the event, staff and families united for a meaningful cause, collecting cash donations for the company’s annual community social responsibility initiative. This year, we will support the educational needs of two children in our community who are facing significant challenges. The company has pledged to match the contributions made by the staff.
